We recommend removing your jewelry:

• when exercising or playing sports
• when in baths, saunas, swimming pools, at the beach, and when washing hands.

Storage: Store each piece separately in a soft jewelry box, away from moisture and heat. To slow down the natural oxidation effect, avoid exposing your jewelry to moisture, intense heat, and extreme temperatures.

Harmful Chemicals: Protect it from harmful products. Cosmetic products can alter certain organic materials such as pearls or porous stones. We recommend waiting about ten minutes from the application of cosmetics and perfumes before proceeding to put your jewelry on.

To preserve the appearance of your jewelry, protect it from corrosive and chemical products, such as salt, water or bleach. If it does come into contact with one of these products, carefully rinse your jewelry with clear water and dry it with a soft cloth.

For silver jewellery: 
Care instructions depend on the condition of your jewellery:

• If your silver jewelry is dusty or shows fingerprints, rub it gently with a soft cloth or a silk cloth.
• If your jewelry is tarnished or slightly oxidized, clean it with clear, warm water, and rub it gently with a soft cloth. Avoid circular movements, rub in the same direction instead. Dry it gently with a soft cloth or a jewelry cleaning cloth.
• If your jewelry is extremely tarnished, you can use a dip cleaner made especially for jewelry. Soak the jewelry in the liquid for a maximum of 10 seconds, rinse it thoroughly in warm, clear water and dry it well with a soft cloth.
• If you think a deeper clean is required, please visit your nearest Mija store with your jewelry.
